Season's greetings one and all, and welcome to our family's first online Xmas venture. We thought it would be fun this year to create links to our favorite sites.
Tobey: I am still busy being a Mom and teacher. The 98-99 school year marks my fourth year at Pine Crest School in Boca Raton, Florida. We had a wonderful summer and vacationed in Washington DC and Williamsburg, Virginia. The highlight of my trip was being embarrassed by a Thomas Jefferson wanna-be at Williamsburg who called me a Spaniard and wanted to know what I was doing in the 13 colonies anyway!
Wes: Still works for BellSouth. He enjoys what he is doing as the work changes with different communication needs and inventions. The highlight of Wes' summer came when he purhased tickets from a scalper so that we could get into the White House. He had a moment of panic when the White House guard asked where his hand stamp was...Wes mumbled something about taking a shower and the crackerjack White House security detail let us in.
Alex: Designed this web page for us. He spent the last year playing an online game called Ultima Online, studying hard, and playing varsity volleyball. Apparently his position is the "setter." I learned this while in the stands as some cute 15 year old girl sang a song that went like this, "Alex is the setter, the setter, setter, setter." She probably would have died of embarrassment if she had known who I was.
Jeff: Had a great sixth grade year in school. He was in the chorus of Guys and Dolls and had a solo performance singing a song in Little Shop of Horrors at his summer camp. My father had to poke me when he came on stage, I didn't recognize him or his voice. The singing voice must take after Wes' side of the family. This year we'll be calling him Admiral Von Shreider as he takes on the part of a Nazi in The Sound of Music.
